Louis Philippe console, Italy, end of the 19th century. Gold leaf. Dimensions: 113 x 35cm H 80cm The console was gilded with Paris, gold and bronze. The deteriorated gilding was replaced with gilding in brass leaf which was then aged. The marble is the original, recessed.
